CRLSS Cairns = Wizard
if as much time was spent on the vocals as the rest of the instrumentation; I believe Cairns has the capacity to take their sound to a whole new level. Purposefully hiding behind a wall of instrumentation doesn't seem to be planned on this album, however it is definitely apparent throughout. The choice instruments are delicate and precise with movements comparing to bon iver with arcade fire. It's like an entire album of which your waiting for the realization to hit you. Favorite track: GravGod.

GravGod 05:53
Off in a quiet world beyond the red glow my senses sharpen and I tilt my head back all the way, and I feel alive. I’ll bend my neck back until it breaks. Beyond the reaches of the cluttered sky the ways in which my feelings form are like shadows into shapes in the dark. All I want is to feel alive again. I’ll bend the branches until they break. I’ll curl the rivers and the clouds between my fingers, dreaming in real time. I feel like I’m dreaming in real time. You’re the only thing that keeps this world from falling apart, the only thing that keeps me running through the dark, the only thing that keeps me from falling apart. You’re the only thing that keeps this world from spinning apart.

Atmosphere 08:17
I’ll stick around for awhile sharing air, sharing this pillow; watching the planes scrape this sky, stitching patterns in the atmosphere; falling deep in the sounds that ruined the stillness of the day. Now they’re evening out all at one time, meandering. I’m peeling back the layers unconsciously and weary, metal and plastic flesh and bone, reassembling. Laying here with some peace on my mind broken by gushing streams of sound. Mechanical-like teeth against the ground tearing away at it all. We’ll wander around deep inside. We’ll search through each other finding out what to say when we say what we mean.
